Diversity Is an Asset

Diversity means variety, and it also means individuality. Diversity is one of the cornerstones of our company. The way we see it, different values, ways of thinking and cultures represent an important success factor for our organization and our customers. And diversity is not only about the many people that make us who we are, but also the wide range of topics and specialist areas we cover. Each individual contributes to the success of our company by adding their personal strengths and experience. We put this diversity to use towards achieving our strategic goals.

Taking Social and Environmental Responsibility

Social Commitment

For us it is not enough to have cultural diversity at metafinanz; we take it a step further by participating in social and cultural projects. Once a year, we carefully select a charitable organization and make a donation. However, commitment means more to us than just regularly digging into our wallet. On our Day of Care, many colleagues roll up their sleeves to offer hands-on help, such as renovating the local rescue dog squadron facility or getting the youth center for refugee children back into shape. All employees have the entire day off so they can contribute to this cause.

Fit 4 Business

Physical and mental fitness is important; health is a precious commodity. We support our employees in finding suitable health activities and, of course, we also help them engage in these activities. Once a month we also hold a sporting event to strengthen our team spirit. When it comes to selecting an activity, our imagination knows no bounds. For us, “anything is game,” be it spinning marathons, joint skiing outings or challenging bicycle tours. In order to promote the performance of our employees and help them maintain it, we always encourage them to try out new things. As an added bonus, these events also broaden their horizon.

Sustainability

Strength often comes from small things. We strive to make the world a little better in many areas we select with care. Achieving CO2-neutral operation of our vehicle fleet, powering our facilities with green electricity and avoiding disposable tableware at company events – there are many ways in which we contribute to protecting our environment.

We care deeply about workplace culture. It is our “soul” and “character” and shows “who we truly are.” That is why it is deeply rooted in our strategy.

Spirit of Partnership

The metaFamily: We want meta to become more than just your employer. From day one. A welcoming day is held to welcome every new colleague. From day one, he or she will be assigned a mentor to help them find their way in these new surroundings. All metaColleagues are on a first name basis – with no exceptions. We do not believe in an open-door culture; we believe in a corporate culture where doors do not exist at all. It is not unusual to see the CEO sitting next to a junior consultant in our modern open-space meeting areas designed for discussions without barriers. We feel that all sides benefit greatly from this way of doing things. At the desk, when playing table soccer, while enjoying an after-work beer or in our creative spaces – every place in our company is meant to foster networking. This brings a lot of fun to the workplace and bolsters our team spirit.
